Bam Bo Tang is headlining the London Fetish Weekends Friday fashion and dance event. Since Bam Bo Tang headlined Pacha 4 times in the last year, featured in the number 1 MTV video – ‘Is That You?’ – Party Dark, Channel 5’s Candy Girls, BBC3′s ‘Snog, Marry & Avoid’ and become the UK’s first female DJ to pioneer the Emulator touchscreen, it is no surprise that she is fully booked so many months in advance!
Fighting tooth and nail to win a prestigious New Hall Music Scholarship at just 11 years old, Bam has worked tirelessly to successfully integrate the essences of the underground, stretching over several decades to give eager revelers ‘that little bit of something else…”
A delectable favorite on the London Fashion scene, she is billed alongside the boldest of characters including – Boy George, Jodie Harsh and La Roux, whilst headlining the sold out ‘We Love Fashion’ catwalk at Pacha as a loyal resident of the awesome Kinkyfunk.
Serving epic doses of tech, electro house, fidget and always the odd surprise at her residencies for Smartie Partie, Kinkyfunk and Hush Hush, playing at clubs such as Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Fabric, Matter, Egg, Honey Club, Scala, Gatecrasher, 93 Feet East, to name a few…life at the minute for her could not be better!
Recently she has also been made a resident at Channel 5 featured Soho gem – Candy Bar where she is let loose to play music across the board from house, dubstep, pop, jungle, hip hop and mashup. Bam says “Ah yes, my beloved Candy Bar…I’m so lucky to be able to flex my mixed-bag muscles and serve the girls such a huge selection of music. As a DJ you can’t beat seeing a crowd erupt, grab their friends and reminisce a prominent era in their lives. Great fun!”
The future? Bam hopes to continue enjoying a very busy UK and international diary, more radio presenting, the release of her first track…all whilst not forgetting to make her hair as large and blonde as possible!!
